In this episode of Mondays With Molly, host Molly Hebda talks about her journey from pole dancing to building a brand photography studio.
Molly started her photography business in 2016 while she was working for a pole dancing company in LA and taking on roles such as VA, graphic designer, web designer, and producer of large-scale productions in Los Angeles and Vegas. Her aim was to tell the transformational stories of her clients in a different way.
She took her first pole dance class in 2010 as a stay-at-home mom, and she quickly fell in love with it. She became a pole dance teacher, a certified group instructor, and then an advanced certified pole dance instructor. Unfortunately, Molly had to end her teaching career due to a shoulder injury she sustained during her first and only competition. After that, she ended up getting a job in LA, and the rest is history.
Molly wants to empower women to embrace their femininity and strength, and to find power in it. Not only does she encourage women to try a pole dance class for themselves, but also wants to bring the strength in femininity back to her brand and boudoir photography sessions.
