From, MOLLY

You need to update your headshots but, you have concerns because of the pandemic. I get it.

It took me a while to get back to accepting sessions in and out of my studio because of this exact concern. My main goal is to capture you at ease and comfortable, but the fear of COVID is also real. We have some options on how both you and I can stay safe and still have an enjoyable session.

Let’s take your headshot session outdoors!

The safest option at this time is to conduct the headshot sessions outdoors. Fresh air, combined with ample social distancing will allow both parties to feel most comfortable. You have the option of having a natural background or I have a portable backdrop we can utilize with solid color options. My studio has access to a side yard, perfect for outdoor sessions while having the convenience of the studio to change your outfits in.

My studio is clean and private!

Motion Inspired Studio is my private photography studio and is roughly 1,000 spare feet, which gives us the space to properly social distance while indoors. Being the only occupants, proper sanitation is conducted before and after each session. And high touch points are clean regularly. Sessions are also spaced out throughout the week, never having multiple clients back to back. We can utilize natural light or studio lighting anytime of the day or year!

Mask etiquette during a headshot session

The state of Illinois mandates that masks should be worn in public places. Obviously, we do not want your headshots to be in a mask! People need to see your face. I will be wearing a mask before, during and after your session, and maintaining the safest social distancing throughout.  Once you have settled into the studio, we go over your outfits, you will remove your mask, touch up any hair and makeup and we will begin the session.

Can I safely book Hair & Makeup

Yes! The hair and makeup artists that Motion Inspired partners with all have safety and sanitation protocols in place. They also wear masks in the studio and while applying makeup and fixing your hair. If you have booked hair and makeup, you will come to the studio, with clean, dry hair and clean, makeup-free, skin.

Online proofing

Typically I help headshot clients go through their files in-person. We will now take this online so that I can still help you go through your images and pick out the best of the best. Edits will be available to download directly.

If you are sick, or think you are sick, please stay home

I ask that you keep open and honest communication with me and I will do the same. If you or any of your family/home unit are ill, have had a fever or any symptoms or have been exposed to someone who has tested positive, please reach out and we will easily reschedule your session when it is deemed safe to do so. If I or the artists that I work with are compromised, we will let you know as soon as possible. Although it would be great to have your images to use right away, it would be better that you and your loved ones, and mine, stay safe and healthy.

Now, more than ever, it is important to have a professional image of yourself online

Everyone and all businesses are online. Having an image of yourself that you are proud of, excited to share and represents you as a professional, will help you stand in the online world. You want your clients and/or potential employers to see who you are and a dynamic headshot will do just that.
